I have leaves in my purse.
Every fall the teachers at Laura’s school write their needs on paper leaves and hang on paper tree, “The Wish Tree.” Parents can choose the leaves and donate the item written on it to the class.
I usually grab one or two. This year I grabbed four.
Two of the items I will purchase and donate; but others are items I have that can leave my house. Two board games and two DVDs – both age appropriate for the classes that need them.

I’m going to suggest this idea to Laurinda for her classroom…funding is always tight and there may be some families who would glad donate some of their slightly, gently used items.
